Very interesting. Climate change advocacy as a business model. I've always assumed that the 'Climate Crisis' was just one more thinly veiled money-making/power scam, but I hadn't realized how easy it was to put together these infinitely interconnected 'non-profit' organizations to do it.
I'm reading Andy May's "Politics and Climate Change: A History." This essay (is that what you call a blog post??) very much supports what he has to say about the advocacy groups and their money.
Einstein was right (as usual) when he said that politics is more difficult than physics.
Many people employed in non-profit world truly believe they serve in an altruistic cause ‘doing the Lord’s work’, while their overpaid execs pharisaically run the overlord oppressors machinery.
"The Justice40 Initiative seeks to deliver 40% of the overall benefits of certain Federal investments to disadvantaged communities. " and we are using a foundation's data to determine using questionable maps, which communities are disadvantaged and getting the money. Between that and ins with insurers, there seems much opportunity for conflict of interest.

It's remarkable for sure!
The "Permanent Government" runs the show, not the administration that's in power, whomever it may be...

Thank you for your work; please keep it up.
Hi! I've been looking for Part I - can you share? Thanks

Jessica, here's another interesting angle, thanks for looking into the funding! They have come into the wildfire space.. https://forestpolicypub.com/2022/05/23/an-interesting-voice-in-the-wildfire-space-the-first-street-foundation-wildfire-study-and-thoughts-on-building-trust/
and their info is used by CEQ and EPA without independent review or ground-truthing.

Looking closely,

here's another bogus map post. https://forestpolicypub.com/2023/02/28/exploring-the-epa-and-ceq-environmental-justice-maps-the-dangers-of-mapping-and-policy-snowballs/
