About Conflicted
Conflicted is a newsletter about scientific-techno political spectacles that are made from manufacturing science for click-bait, repackaging epistemic uncertainty as risk, and how political interests influence decisions about the knowledge creation. My write-ups and analysis aim to provide new insight, allow for more decision making options, and to empower new pragmatic and scientifically coherent narratives about public problems and decision maker accountability.

But I also write and pour over report footnotes because ultimately, I am motivated by ideals of democratic process and scientific integrity. The two go hand in hand; scientific integrity enhances democratic accountability and inclusion.
I learn by doing- sometimes quite clumsily, and through disagreement.
So I write…
